I’ve got Dahlias on my mind..

Hello Friends! I wanted to share with you my newest (and largest) idea yet. I thought it would be a good business idea to focus on growing a lot of only a few things. So…welcome with me my order of over 2000 dahlia tubers! This means I’ll have arm-loads of gorgeous dahlia blooms for your kitchen tables, hostess gifts and even weddings and events. They will starting blooming in June and July and (fingers crossed) again in the fall. It also means that my gardener friends can grow dahlias of their own. If you would like to try your hand at planting and growing dahlias this spring, you can purchase them in my shop.

I decided to grow only three varieties so I can learn the most about them and have a lot to offer. I have tubers of ‘Sweet Fabienne’, a bright “Barbie” pink ball-type dahlia, ‘Jowey Martina’, a buttery yellow ball-type dahlia, and ‘Natalie G’, a melon-pink flower with a lavender hue. Why only ball-type dahlias? They have shown to hold up better and longer as cut flowers than the more fancy decorative dahlias. They also seem to be tougher plants all together and can thrive in our often challenging Texas growing conditions.

So..if you want to try your hand at growing dahlias this year, jump into my shop and place an order!

Cheers!

~Lacey

Here are the first Dahlias I grew back in 2020. They did great, blooming in late June.
