Hello flower lovers!
By now, we have all heard of the Harvard study that connects fresh flowers and live plants in the home with mental wellbeing, right? A study conducted by Dr. Nancy Etcoff, a behavioral psychologist at Harvard Medical School, found that having fresh flowers in the home can strengthen feelings of compassion and decrease anxiety.
“As a psychologist, I’m particularly intrigued to find that people who live with flowers report fewer episodes of anxiety and depressed feelings,” Etcoff says. “Our results suggest that flowers have a positive impact on our well being.”

In our gardens at Alice Creek Flowers, we have a lot of beautiful flowers blooming this October. To have fresh flowers delivered to your home or office each week, sign up for our October bouquet subscription for $120. You can fill out the form here to sign up or through our online store. You can also choose the pick the flowers up from our cooler in Whitehouse for $100. After the form is submitted, I will email you an invoice or send you my venmo information.
More information about the research from Harvard Medical School can be found here.
I hope everyone has a great day!
