Hello! Thank-you for visiting Learn and Grow with Alice Creek Flowers! My name is Lacey Russell, the founder and crazy lady behind this business. I started Learn and Grow with Alice Creek to help connect gardeners who want to learn more about the how and why of growing a healthy garden with the academics of horticulture and soil science. I hope that my workshops and on-line classes help gardeners grow their knowledge to make smart intuitive decisions. I have BA a Cultural Anthropology from the University of North Texas an MS in Agriculture and a PhD in Forestry from Stephen F. Austin State University and I can’t wait to share what I have and still am learning! I think curiosity is the greatest personality trait, and I look forward to meeting more curious gardeners like myself!

More about me: I am a mom of two teenagers and one pre-teen. I am married to Louisiana born, Mississippi raised man. I grew up in the suburbs of Houston, TX. I am not a fan of depending on Artificial Intelligence or Artificial Intelligence’s dependence on data centers. I lived in Japan for almost three years. I love to travel and hope to do more of it one day.
